If there is one wedding I’m beyond excited to attend this year, it’s Danni and Ty’s. For those who don’t know, there’s a running joke in our family that my husband knows everyone. And, as fate would have it, when Danni told us she was getting married, my husband immediately said, “Oh wow! I know Ty. He is an amazing guy. Danni is so lucky!” And while I agree, I might spin it the other way and say Ty is the lucky one in this scenario.

Danni and Ty will be tying the knot at Stone Crossing later this year. And I am in love with the theme. Think dark forest green with splashes of gold and black, moss and bark on tables, and candles bringing all the ambiance. Plus with the secluded rooms throughout the venue, it is guaranteed to be an intimate affair.

Instantly, when I heard this theme, I knew we had to do our engagement shoot at Bogus Basin. Bogus offers not only incredible views of the Treasure Valley, it has a diversity in backdrops from towering trees to grasses and flowers to big open plains. It truly allows creativity to go wild. We braved a little cold weather, but it was nothing car breaks couldn’t handle and it offered up crystal clear skies with phenomenal memories.

Here’s to Danni and Ty! Can’t wait to celebrate you both in the fall.
